What is the Personal Project?

Overview
Personal Project is the cumulating MYP project where students apply the skills they have developed throughout the programme to a passion topic of their choice. The project has three main components: a process journal, product, and report.

ATL Skills
The personal project formally assesses students’ approaches to learning (ATL) skills for self-management, research, communication, critical and creative thinking, and collaboration.

Global Context
Every personal project has one of the following global contexts that establishes the relevancy of the inquiry: "Identities and Relationships", "Orientation in Time and Space", "Personal and Cultural Expression", "Scientific and Technical Innovation", "Globalization and Sustainability", and "Fairness and Development​."
