New Technologies in Healthcare Systems |
For my personal project, I decided to embark on the challenge to learn a programming language. I wanted to create a mobile application that would enhance communication in the healthcare sector. Over the course of my project, I learned Flutter, a Google object oriented programming language that aids in creating mobile apps with efficiency. The project stipulated hours and hours of research as well as troubleshooting, and had brought several obstacles along the way. Nonetheless, I was able to create an aesthetically pleasing and functional mobile application, fit to match user needs of all medical and cultural backgrounds. The project had compelled me to dive deeper into the realm of epidemiology and medical studies. Nonetheless, the personal project was a great experience, and I feel proud of the product I have created.

Challenges
The most challenging aspect of my personal project was the research phase. I had to go through a range of voluminous articles in order to develop a strong knowledge base to produce my application. Making sure you're an expert in your field/project was definitely quite hard, and requires quite a bit of motivation to get through

Achievements
I'm most proud of the mobile application I've created simply due to the fact that I've never made an app before. The end product, despite not being completely finished, looks remarkable to me. Never would I have imagined I would be able to create an app with an authentic user interface and original content. The euphoria I felt at the end of the project is inexplicable. |
Advice
The best advice I can provide to the future 10th graders is to take the personal project seriously. Not in that you need to be spending 5 hours each day working on it, but by thoroughly researching your topic from the start of the year, the entire project will go very smoothly. In addition, make sure to take the time and write your report slowly; the slower you go, the less revisions you will need to make coming up to the deadline.
